
Evelyn Sareto – Executive Director
Inspired by the power of the people and armed with a bias for action, Evelyn has been the Executive Director of Pishon Initiative for the last one year.
Evelyn has been in several community based organization championing water harvesting among communities living in Kenya. She is a lover of nature.

Benjamin Kiplabat holds Bachelor of Commerce and Masters in Business administration majoring in Finance from University of Nairobi. He is also a member of Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (ICPAK) and currently pursuing Phd in Public Policy at Kenyatta University
In addition, Benjamin increased his capacity and competency by acquiring additional knowledge in the field of Environment.
Previously, Benjamin has worked for one of the Parastatals here in Kenya from the Mid 2000 as an accountant. His interest outside accounting is water harvesting and nature conservation. He has served actively in several Community based organization such as Kajiado we want, Tenges Development Forum among others. He is married with two children.

Paul Sambu is currently the Communication Director for Pishon Initiative. He is responsible for branding as well as communication within and without Pishon Initiative.
He holds a Diploma in Land survey and Leadership training in Christian evangelism. Besides this, Paul has shared his educating skills in one of public institution here in Kenya.
Paul is an active member of Kajiado we want community based organization and actively involved in community environmental conservation, wildlife conservation, water harvesting and girl child empowerment.

Bernice Nkatha was appointed as the Marketing Director at Pishon Initiative in the year 2022. She holds a Masters in Project Planning and Management at the University of Nairobi (UON) where her research was centred on Monitoring and Evaluation of projects.
Actively involved in water harvesting and environmental conservation, Bernice is also a board member in Blissful Hope International which tackles water conservation which in turn promotes good health by providing clean water and sanitation within the society.
Beside her passion she has worked for a National Parastatal since 2004 in the Marketing and Compliance section which is actively involved in both National and International projects as well as environmental conservation as a corporate social responsibility.
Bernice is a member of a certified body of Kenya Association of Project Managers (KAPM). She is lives in Kajiado County, married with two children.

Nehemiah Sareto Moiyo was born in a small village in Nandi county , a rural area of Rift valley.Nehemiah has specialized in Dairy farming since completing his secondry school in 1983.Nehemiah is founding member of Lessos cooperative Society in the year 2000.In addition, Nehemiah has a strong passion for Biogas and water harvesting and he is sensitizing the community about the benefits of clean water harvesting and green energy .
He strongly believes that to protect the environment, human being should be empowered, be involved in decision making and be informed that the resources are there to help them survive.
Currently, Nehemiah serves as a Project Director for Pishon Initiative a local NGO in Kenya that aims at contributing to good environmental governance and responsible development through community advocacy and natural resource governance.
