Water Harvesting & Conservation
We undertake water conservation through water harvesting. Water harvesting is the collection and storage of rainwater or other forms of precipitation through various proven and affordable conservation systems.
It is a traditional practice in Africa that has been used for centuries to collect and store rainwater for drinking, cooking, and irrigation. In recent years, water harvesting has become increasingly important as Africa faces a growing water crisis.
There are many different types of water harvesting systems, but they all share the same basic principle: to collect and store rainwater or other forms of precipitation.
Pishon Initiative has been in the forefront in providing water harvesting and conservation solutions to schools and communities in Kenya.
If you are interested in water harvesting for your community, Pishon can help you.

Environmental Conservation
Environmental conservation is protecting and preserving the natural resources of the continent like protecting wildlife, forests, water resources, and other natural areas.
There are many challenges to environmental conservation in Africa, including: Poverty, Population growth, and Climate change.
Despite these challenges, we are working with the communities to protect the environment in Africa by;
- Reforestation and Tree Planting
- Promoting Sustainable Agriculture
- Educating the public and creating awareness
Environmental conservation is an important issue in Africa. By working together, we can protect the continent’s natural resources for future generations.
